We are committed to working towards the UK government’s Net Zero Strategy: Build Back Greener, targeting decarbonisation across the UK economy by 2050.
Carbon plays a critical but equally damaging role in the construction industry, with plant, travel and materials contributing to a higher output than most other industries worldwide.
Our approach to address this starts with our people, who are motivated to meet the carbon targets set by international bodies and those of our clients.
We are currently transitioning to a hybrid and electric fleet for our office staff, and monitoring our company-wide travel to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to reduce our natural resource usage.
Our goals
Monitor and offset our company carbon expenditure through charity partnerships.
Eliminate diesel through our plant supply across all business activities by 2030.
