Climate change has become a more pertinent threat in recent years, with its effects already being felt in communities and cities around the world.
We recognise the impact of our activities – and those of the wider industry – on the climate, and are committed to minimising these through tangible interventions and improved education of our people at all levels.
We aim to leave a positive legacy in every community we work, including the natural environment.
Our teams strive to minimise disturbance to local wildlife and fauna and enhance green areas such as rivers, ponds and woodlands wherever the opportunity arises.
We are currently improving the London climate through our work on Thames Tideway.
