Eugene is a tunnelling operations specialist with over 35 years’ experience delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK. He has played a key role in landmark schemes including Thames Tideway, Crossrail, and the Silvertown Tunnels, where his expertise in shaft sinking, SCL, TBM works, and underground logistics ensures the successful resourcing and execution of critical tunnelling operations. At RC, Eugene leads the tunnelling portfolio, applying hands-on knowledge and industry insight to support delivery, develop workforce capability, and drive innovation in tunnelling safety and training. He also pioneered RC’s internal Tunnelling Apprenticeship scheme, helping secure the next generation of tunnelling professionals.
