Brian Greene

Brian has been Managing Director of Reliable Contractors for over 9 years, having joined the family business 14 years prior. Starting off as a Carpentry Apprentice on the youth training scheme (YTS), he progressed through the industry by learning multiple trades and working his way up on major UK infrastructure projects including the M20, Isle of Grain Terminal, Colne Barrier, Liverpool Street Station, and Embankment Station gaining experience in carpentry, drainage, concrete works, and all aspects of Civil engineering. This practical foundation gives Brian unique insight into site delivery, workforce challenges, and skills needs. Since becoming Director in 2002, he has grown the business from £5million to £50 million, championing a sustainable labour model based on direct employment, internal progression, and long-term project delivery. Brian is a key decision-maker and trusted partner across the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, using his strategic and people-first approach to drive business growth, performance, and industry best practice.
