Jahieem Jackson
Jahieem approached us at the Birmingham Library careers fair to explore potential opportunities with HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd. He met our Training Manager, who introduced him to RCT and the possibility of starting a new career where he could learn and gain experience on-site.
Jahieem joined our first cohort of RCT in November 2024. He found the course to be enjoyable, informative, and appreciated the clear and precise RCT process, along with the supportive team.
His training covered the CSCS Green Card, CPCS Traffic Marshall, and SIA Security. After completing all his training and passing his assessments in January 2025, he was referred to our Labor Manager, Eddie McGuire, for the BBV section of HS2, where he began working on site as a Traffic Marshall in February.
Jahieem enjoys his new role and feels pleased with the supportive team around him. He has received excellent feedback from his Labor Manager, who commends his strong work ethic and positive attitude. Jahieem plans to stay on the project to further develop his skills, knowledge, and qualifications. He shared that he would definitely recommend RCT, as he felt supported throughout his journey and found the training to be excellent and realistic preparation for working on site.
