Reliable Contractors announced as new Nature Partner of Bog Farm in Kent

Reliable Contractors is delighted to announce its new partnership with Bog Farm in Kent, becoming a Nature Partner and supporting a wide range of long-term initiatives designed to restore nature and biodiversity, whilst also supporting its commitment to regenerative farming.

Through its funding, Reliable Contractors will help Bog Farm deliver practical nature restoration projects designed to strengthen biodiversity, improve landscape resilience, and create lasting environmental benefits for the local area.

The programme will contribute to initiatives including water conservation, natural flood management, boosting soil health, woodland restoration and improvement, and the reintroduction of native species. Together, these projects will help create healthier habitats, improve the condition and connectivity of the farm’s ecosystems, and support a more resilient landscape for the future.

A key element of the partnership will also be the expansion of tree and hedgerow planting across the farm. As these trees and hedgerows grow, they will capture and store atmospheric carbon, helping remove carbon from the atmosphere while simultaneously providing a haven for wildlife, including rare birds such as Black Caps, Yellowhammers and Wrens.
