Paige Storey

Paige, from Solihull, was unemployed for six months before encountering the Compass Group at her local Jobcentre. They offered her a place on their Pre-Employment Training Course for catering assistants, and after a successful work trial was offered a full-time role at the Kingsbury compound. “HS2 will be an important part of history and it’s fantastic to be a part of it,” she said.

At this point in her career, Paige wanted to transition from a kitchen environment to an office setting due to her career aspirations and health concerns. It was during this time that she met Lee, our Director of Civils and Infrastructure, who offered her a position as a trainee resourcer at Reliable Contractors. Paige has now become a key resourcer for our team. When asked about her job role, she said, “I am now placing candidates on the HS2 project at various sites, not just in Birmingham but also all around the UK. This opportunity allows me to help others change their futures while also paving my own career path, thanks to Reliable Contractors Ltd.”
