Reliable Contractors turns 50!

Last week, we brought the team together to celebrate an incredible 50 years in business! It was such a brilliant day filled with good food, plenty of laughs, great company and, most importantly, a chance for everyone to come together and celebrate this huge milestone. During the celebrations we celebrated our longest-standing team members with long service awards, recognising those who have helped shape RC into what it is today. We also recognised achievements across the business with a variety of awards such as Rising Star, Technological Innovation and EDI Champion.

50 years is an incredible achievement, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the people who have been part of the Reliable journey along the way. From our humble beginnings, when founder Patrick Greene came over from rural Donegal, Ireland, with just £20 in his pocket and the clothes on his back, to the business we are today, Reliable has grown into something truly special. Yet, despite how far we have come, we remain a family business at heart, built on the same family values that have guided us from the very beginning.

Today, three generations of the Greene family are part of that journey, with Patrick’s son Brian and granddaughter Amelia continuing his legacy. As we celebrate this milestone, we are proud to recognise the people who have helped shape Reliable into the business it is today, and look forward to what the next chapter holds.
